While I think that the Scion press conference was the coolest, I think the Kia conference was the most fun.

The use of multimedia and, at the finale, real singers was certainly more creative than pretty much anything I saw yesterday. Of course, the launch of the Rondo SX Concept is clearly a publicity stunt as the new Rondo crossover is just now making its splash with a base price of $17K. Well, stunt away, my Kia friends. I was amused. Their witty use of Rondoisms (currently appearing in the Rondo commercials, as well) touched my writer's fancy. Plus the Rondoisms cleverly define the vehicle: Giddyupidness, safety all-overness, huge cabinocity, precision steerology and (most important) MPG happiness.

Kia is doing some awesome things lately, so definitely be sure to stop by and check them out -- either at the show or online. You probably won't recognize them.
