At its centennial celebration, General Motors unveiled the production version of the plug-in Chevrolet Volt. It has been completely redesigned since the concept, retaining some of the design elements but taking on a more aerodynamic shape. The Volt is set to be released in 2010 as a 2011 model, and it will go up to 40 miles on a single charge.
