Available this summer, the 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 will be the fastest, most powerful automobile ever produced by General Motors. The all-new LS9 supercharged 6.2L V-8 is targeted to produce at least 100 horsepower per liter, or 620 horsepower, and approximately 595 pound-feet of torque. Pricing hasn't yet been announced, but speculation puts the MSRP at about $100,000.
