Despite his name, there has nothing fast about the sale of Gary Fast's home in Orland Park.
For Gary Fast, the goodbye has been a long one. In April, Fast put a "For Sale" sign in front of his home of 15 years at 11160 Brigitte Terrace in Orland Park.
By doing so, he was saying "So long" to a place where he raised three daughters, installed by himself the French doors leading to the den and burned through countless hours putzing with a slot racecar track in the basement.
Orland Park is full of other houses just like it: Solid, brick. Vaulted ceilings and fireplaces. Four bedrooms, four bathrooms. Three-car garage.
A nice, upper-class home.
